Welcome to Elite Youth Tour (“EYT,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). We are committed to protecting the privacy of all visitors to our website, including the youth bowlers, parents, guardians, coaches, and event participants who make up our community.

Elite Youth Tour is a youth bowling organization that has served youth bowlers since 2012. We host tournaments and events across the United States.

3. Information We Collect

We collect several categories of information depending on how you interact with our Site and services.
3.1 Information You Provide Directly
•Registration & Profile Data: Name, date of birth, age division, contact email, parent/guardian name and contact information when you create an EYT profile or register for membership.
•Event Registration: Bowler name, age, division, coach or team information, and any special accommodation requests submitted during event sign-up.
•Newsletter Sign-Up: Your email address when you subscribe to our newsletter via our third-party form provider (LeadConnector/HighLevel).
•Purchase / Shop: Billing name, shipping address, email address, and payment information when purchasing merchandise. Payment card details are processed directly by our payment provider and are not stored by EYT.
•Donations: Name, email, and payment details processed by PayPal when you make a donation. PayPal’s privacy policy governs that transaction.
•Contact Form: Your name, email address, and any message you submit through our contact page.
•Comments: Your name, email address, and comment content if you leave a comment on our blog.
•Job Applications / Volunteer Interest: Information submitted via Typeform when applying to join our team.
3.2 Information Collected Automatically
•Log Data: Your IP address, browser type and version, pages visited, time and date of visits, and referring URLs.
•Cookies & Similar Technologies: Session cookies, login cookies, and preference cookies as described in Section 5.
•Device Information: Device type, operating system, and screen resolution.
•Analytics Data: Aggregated site usage data collected through analytics tools to understand how visitors use our Site.
3.3 Information from Third Parties
•Gravatar: If you use a Gravatar-linked email when commenting, an anonymized hash of your email is sent to Gravatar to retrieve your profile picture. Gravatar’s privacy policy is available at https://automattic.com/privacy/.
•Social Media Embeds: Content embedded from Instagram, Facebook, Twitter/X, YouTube, or other platforms may allow those platforms to collect data about your visit per their own privacy policies.
•Sponsors & Partners: We may receive limited information about participants in joint events or promotions with our sponsors.

•Event Results: Bowler names, age divisions, and tournament results may be published publicly on our Site, social media, and in press releases as part of our core mission to recognize youth bowlers.
•Sponsors & Partners: With event sponsors in connection with sponsored tournaments or scholarship programs, limited to what is necessary for the event.
•Legal Requirements: When required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of EYT, our participants, or others.
•Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with appropriate notice to affected users.
•Password Resets: Your IP address is included in password reset emails generated by our platform.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, including:
•Account/Profile Data: Retained for as long as your profile is active and for a reasonable period afterward. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 9).
•Event Records: Tournament results, champion listings, and participation records may be retained indefinitely as part of EYT’s historical archive of youth bowling.
•Comments: Retained indefinitely to facilitate spam detection and comment moderation, unless you request deletion.
•Purchase Records: Retained as required for tax, accounting, and legal purposes.
•Newsletter Subscriptions: Retained until you unsubscribe.

8. Children’s Privacy & COPPA Compliance

Elite Youth Tour serves youth bowlers, many of whom are under the age of 13. We are committed to complying with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
•We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. Registration and profile creation for participants under 13 must be completed by a parent or legal guardian.
•Parents and guardians may review the personal information of their child, request corrections, and request deletion by contacting us (see Section 9).
•Publicly posted event results (names and division placements) for minor participants are published as part of our mission and with the reasonable expectation of participants in public sporting events. If you have concerns about a minor’s information being displayed, please contact us.
•We do not direct marketing communications at children.
If you believe we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13 without parental consent, please contact us immediately so we can remove it.

9. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
•Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
•Correction: Request that inaccurate or incomplete data be corrected.
•Deletion: Request that we delete your personal data, subject to certain legal exceptions.
•Portability: Request an exported file of the personal data you have provided to us.
