EYT scholarships are performance-based, and earnings are unlimited — there’s no cap on what a bowler can work toward across a season. Because youth athletes can’t accept cash prizes, scholarship earnings are deposited directly into a SMART account, where they stay protected and dedicated to future education costs. It’s a system built for transparency, which is a promise we take seriously: we’re accountable for how every dollar moves.
Performance in competition is one path to a scholarship. It isn’t the only one.
More Than the Scoresheet
Some of the bowlers who earn the most through EYT never had a single perfect game. Our Leave Your Mark award recognizes bowlers making a real difference off the lanes — through volunteer work, mentorship, and community service — because we believe scholarships should reward the whole young person, not just the scoresheet. Programs like our Bowlers of Color Initiative and Financial Hardship Initiative exist for the same reason: talent and character shouldn’t be limited by who can afford to compete.

Getting on a College Coach’s Radar
Visibility is the other half of this equation, and it’s one families often underestimate.
